DGS-3100-24P Firmware Brick recovery
« on: February 09, 2012, 12:19:58 PM »

I'm hoping that someone can help me "un-brick" my DGS-3100-24P. I tried to use the web interface to update the firmware and ended up making a big mistake by rebooting the switch before both the firmware and boot code were updated.

I can get to the startup menu that has selection 1 as download firmware but have no luck in getting anything to download. I'm running windows hyperterminal and using xmodem.

Any ideas?

Same problem here, altrough it happened suddenly, not during upgrade process.
Model is DGS-3100-24 H/W Ver.:A2.
I've tried to upload firmware using xmodem, without luck. Switch constantly loops.

Is there a solution?
