Dlink 600m does not assign ip on repeater mode
« on: April 02, 2015, 10:14:45 PM »

Hi,

We have multiple internet devices connected to the repeater but after sometime if another device tries to connect the router does not assign an ip to it. The other devices already connected to the repeater function normally. If i connect to the main modem it assigns ip easily. Is there a limit to number of ips assigned by a modem to a repeater or is there any setting i need to change?

Link>Welcome!

  • What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under the router case.
  • Link>What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on the routers web page under status.
  • What region are you located?

Internet Service Provider and Modem Configurations
  • What ISP Service do you have? Cable or DSL?
  • What ISP Modem Mfr. and model # do you have?

Are you using the 600 as your main host router or as the Repeater?
