Client loose connexion with DAP-2590

armando-25:
Hi everybody,

I meet some issues concerning connexion between a client and my access point DAP-2590.
My client is authentified by access point as I can see in the log viewer of the web interface. But I loose connexion with my client as you can see in the view log.

My client is configured in order to sleep during 30 sec and after wake up. During the sleep period my access point send a Deauth message in the view log but I have no re-authentification of my wifi client when he wake up.

As you can see when I ping my client in the my own network, after time out I loose connexion and no re-authentification.

These are some screenshoots to explain my issue :

I try with a non professional router and I have not this problem. Moreover my ping is faster. About 5 ms per frame instead of 200 / 300. Any ideas ?

Thanks a lot for your help,

Link>Welcome!

* What Hardware version is your DAP? Look at sticker under DAP.
* Link>What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on the DAPs web page under status.
* What region are you located?
* Any 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz cordless house phones or WiFi APs near by?
* Any other WiFi routers in the area? Link> Use InSSIDer to find out. How many?

armando-25:
Thanks for your answer,

Hardware version is : A2
Firmware version is 1.25
Paris, France
I choose a channel where there are no perturbations, no cordless house phones or other Wifi Aps emitting in the same channel.
No other routers

I tried also to modify all these parameters but it has not fixed my De-auth issue :

* 2.4Ghz Routers only: Try single mode G / N or mixed G and N
*
* Channel Width set for Auto 20/40Mhz or try 20Mhz only.
*
* Try setting a manual Channel to a open or unused channel. 1, 6 or 11. 11 for single mode N if the channel is clear.
*
* What security mode are you using? Open system.
*
* Try turning OFF or ON Short GI, WLAN Partition, HT 20/40 Co-exhistance and Extra Wireless Protection if you have it. Recommended settings are default. Under Advanced/Advanced Wireless.
*

* Try enable WMM Enable Under Advanced/Advanced Wireless.
*
* Try setting Medium or Low power output settings and test again Under Advanced/Advanced Wireless.
*
* Try disable IGMP snooping
*
* Try firmware version 1.20
*
* Try to modify Beacon interval
*
* Try a factory reset
*
I want to add that I tried with a router 3com and it's working. I looked parameters to compare configuration, it seems to be identical.

Is there a way to force authentification of a wireless device ?

Do you have other ideas ?
Thanks a lot for your help,

FurryNutz:

* Has a Factory Reset been performed?
* Was a Factory Reset performed before and after any firmware updates then set up from scratch? FW Update Process

* Was the router working before any firmware updates?
Was the DAP loaded with v1.25 or did you loaded it? Where did you get the v1.25 file from?
What is this device that looses the connection? Does it have any sleep function?

armando-25:
-Yes a factory reset has been performed
-Not before
-Yes router is working after firmware update

-The DAP was loaded with 1.25 firmware. I get 1.25 fimware with installation CD.
- It's pump wifi and yes it has sleep fonction.

And during sleep I received time out, after destination host unreachable and finally I can see in the log viewer of my access point a de-auth message. But when my wifi client wake up, the authentification message don't re-appear. (As you can see in screenshoots above)
