Lost connection
« on: December 29, 2013, 06:30:26 PM »

The other night, out of the blue I lost connection to both of my 930Ls running wifi. I power cycled both, power cycled the router and finally did a reset on one of them in a effort to get it back.

In the setup screens, I get as far as make a new password and it tells me:
There was a problem saving your settings. Click Next to try again.

Clicking next gets me nowhere, restarted with a fresh reset and same thing.

Now my router sees both of them, just can't get to them.

Tried the latest install package instead of my cd:
https://www.mydlink.com/download/

That did the trick. Now to redo my settings all over again...........

The Setup Wizard version must match the firmware version to work properly. The Setup Wizard CD that ships with a DCS-930L is likely to have issues when new firmware is uploaded to the camera.

Sorry for the delay, if I remember correctly I did update the firmware when I first installed the cameras (ver before current)

So that would explain the issues. Hopefully anyone else having the issue will see this and save some frustration!
