Title: Email subject/body lacking in detail
Post by: Watcher on June 25, 2017, 12:21:19 PM
I've now set up DCS-960 to send email notifications on motion events, attaching 6 images.

The test email had the subject "This is a snapshot test mail" and its body shows fields for "Camera Name", "MAC Address", "IP Address" and "Time".

The real event message, however has the subject "Camera event detected", while the body, in addition to the images only contains the text:
[b"]Motion Detected
Please see attachment"[/b]

No information to identify which camera sent the message. I ended postfixing the email address with a +960 marker to be able to filter on it. 2332L for example includes the camera name into both  the subject and the body, so why not 960L?

Possible that D-Link chooses to no use detail in emails as they can be intercepted...A security concern.

At least the camera name, which I give it in the configuration would be handy, like DCS-2332L does it.

I'll pass this on to D-Link for review...
