QuickTime Player on a Mac (OSX 10.6.8) will monitor video and audio from an DCS-1130. It decodes both the MJPEG and MPEG streams.

Safari works on my iPhone (iOS 5.0.1) and iPad (iOS 5.1). Video only, no audio. Only handles MJPEG.

Needless to say, these are both single camera solutions. No multiple windows, no motion detection.
Mydlink is not involved.

I wish I could find a way to obtain snapshots (JPEGs) from the 1130. Then I could use the excellent PhotoStickies application (Mac) to capture time-lapse series.

I have six D-Link cameras for security use.  I view through D-Link's CamViewer and IE 8.  I would prefer to use Unix based software such as Linux Ubuntu.  The D-Link cameras are unusual, needing IE and ActiveX to view so the task is daunting.

Is anyone out there able to view from Firefox or Google Chrome. for example?

D-Link recently released mydlink+ for iPad and Android tablets.
Please see updated application list!

The free version is better than the paid one. Audio is still a nuisance.

I'm assembling a current list of available D-Link DCS compatible software products for monitoring video/audio feeds from D-Link DCS cameras.
I would like to write a windows phone app - anyway to get a spec for the stream?

You may want to try re-posting this question as a new thread (with an appropriate subject) in the main section of this DCS Software board.

I've used an app called 'D-Link Cams' by EyeSpyFX for probably 2 years on the iPhone and it
works with most D-Link cameras.. personally used it with the following-
DCS-7110, DCS-6610, DCS-5610, DCS-3110, DCS-3410, DCS-2230, DCS-2210, DCS-920
and DCS-3430.. I'm sure they support the rest of them..

Platforms - iOS, Android, Windows Phone, and Blackberry.
Cost I think is $4.99

Their website - http://www.eyespyfx.com/mywebcam.php
It's a basic app but not bad.. you can control a PTZ with it as well.
