The latest firmware for the DAP-1650 is a beta version. The Readme for that firmware promised a final version would follow immediately but nothing has appeared. Does anyone know when we expect the final version of current firmware to be available?

We don't. Usually when in beta it's available for use if users want to try it. We encourage users to try it and let us know if they experience problems with it. They can revert back to older FW as well. When it's in beta, D-Link is running it's own tests on it before it gets posted as release which can take a while.
