Click'n Connect can't discover the router.
« on: August 04, 2013, 10:22:15 AM »

I have a DSL 2640U router which I'm trying to reinstall on my computer. When I try to install the software I get the message "Click'n Connect can't discover the router. Please check the cable connection and make sure the router is powered on." It is, but the program won't proceed further. I'm connecting to the internet but I want to be able to use the software to control the router. What must I do? Thanks.

Can you access the Modems web page at 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1?
SW isn't needed to manage the Modem as it has onboard web page.
