Can't multicast

Hello,

For our project we have to join a multicasting group on PC 1 and send messages to it on PC2. Joining the group is ok but when I send a message to the group, it doesn't arrive. I already tried enabling multicast streams, but it didn't work. With wireshark you can clearly see messages arriving, but for some reason my mulicastsocket desn't receive anything. I've read somewhere that multicast messages are translated to broadcast messages. Is this true? How do I fix this?
