No Access thru Chrome
« on: October 07, 2015, 08:21:34 AM »

I cannot get access to the setup for my DCS31l cam.  Chrome displays in red letters, "The browser you are using may have difficulty receiving images and video. If you experience any issues viewing this page, we suggest using Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, or Apple Safari."
When I try explorer, it will not display the video, jave plugin error.  Java is updated and I seem to have udated plugins.
Suggestions please.

Be sure to clear all browser caches.
Try FF

Factory reset the set up from scratch using IE or FF browsers...

Had this same issue and found a solution.  Install the google chrome extension User-Agent Selector.  Pick a different user agent for the tab you are using to access the d-link camera.  You'll be able to access the camera like before.

I didn't try to view video through the web interface but did make changes to the settings.  I also would pull still images from the camera using chrome.  Neither worked after the firmware upgrade.  Using the user-agent selector extension both now work fine.

Does this user agent select a different virtual browser? like IE or FF?
