Link>Welcome!

  • What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under the router case.
  • Link>What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on the routers web page under status.
  • What region are you located?
  • Are you wired or wireless connected to the router?
  • Was a Factory Reset performed before and after any firmware updates then set up from scratch?
  Link> >FW Update Process

Internet Service Provider and Modem Configurations
  • What ISP Service do you have? Cable or DSL?
  • What ISP Modem Mfr. and model # do you have?

Router and Wired Configurations
Some things to try: - Log into the routers web page at 192.168.0.1. Use IE, Opera or FF to manage the router. Besure to log into the Admin account on the router.
  • Turn off Advanced DNS Services if you have this option under Setup/Internet/Manual or under Setup/PARENTAL CONTROL/Set to>None: Static IP or Obtain Automatically From ISP.
  • Turn on or off DNS Relay under Setup/Networking. Link>Finding Faster DNS Addresses using Name Bench and input new DNS addresses under Setup/Internet/Manual.
  • Setup DHCP reserved IP addresses for all devices ON the router. Setup/Networking. This ensures each devices gets its own IP address when turned on and connected, eliminates IP address conflicts and helps in troubleshooting and maintain consistency for applications that need to connect as well as mapped drives.
  • Ensure devices are set to auto obtain an IP address.
  • Set Firewall settings to Endpoint Independent for TCP and UDP under Advanced/Firewall. Enable or Disable SPI to test.
  • Enable uPnP and Multi-cast Streaming under Advanced/Networking. Disable uPnP for testing Port Forwarding rules.

Is there a cable modem? is so what is the Mfr and model #?
What is the IP address the router is getting from the ISP service? ##.##.###.### or a 192. or 10. oe 172. type address?

The DIR-600L is not a modem, it's a router.
However I think your getting a public IP address. Checking for double NAT condition which would inhibit proper port forwarding from working.

Please post the configuration of your Port Forward settings:
Adding Screenshots In A Post

Please confirm that his is a DIR-600L and not a DIR-600?

I presume if the PF was working at some point and you didn't change anything, then the changes may have been with either the application service or the ISP changed something. You should contact both of them to get help and information regarding this.

After setting up the ports you do have the uPnP disabled on the router and have the application running when checking port status?
Im moving this thread to the DIR-600L forum

What MFr and model is the ISP modem?

Yes. I have uPnP disabled.
I check port forwarding through some websites(canyouseeme and some others)
I don;t actually know the mfr and model of ISP modem..
But its the same modem from ages (when port forwarding used to work on my router )

The settings look fine and from what you said and posted and confirmed, if this is all the same as before..then something else has changed on the ISP side or application side...

Guess i might be having some firewall blocking my connection(But all firewalls are disabled)
When i connect to canyouseeme it says connection refused.
I saw a similar post previously on this forum where you had mentioned something like modifying something in dmz section.
Can you explain more on that?
