I had never heard the buzzer before, and it took me a few minutes to realize it was my DNR202L.  So, I logged into the DNR202L configuration page, to see that there was 0% free space left on my hard drive (which is bizarre because I had it configured to reclaim space, and it had been working fine for some time).  I clicked on restart system.  Thankfully the buzzing stopped, but it has been hung on the rebooting screen for 20 minutes now.

Suggestions?

Link>Welcome!

  • What Hardware version is your DNR? Look at the sticker behind or under the device.
  • Link>What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on the DNRs web page under status.
  • What region are you located?

What mfr model USB drive and size do you have attached?
This drive have its own USB power supply?

I just got mine going this past weekend with a 160Gb drive and over write is enabled. I think you can disable buzzer notifications I think when the drive is full. Seems odd that it's not going back and over writing.
