Hey everyone.

I have a DCS5222L Rev. B.  I unplugged it last night due to a bad storm coming up.  I plugged it back in this morning, only for it to show a Solid Red LED.  I use it wirelessly.  I reset it, but to no avail.  Am I missing something?  Please help!

Thanks in advance!

Do a factory reset then set up from scratch using the software installation. If the unit has been off for more than a minute or two, then the wireless will not reconnect I believe and defaults back to other settings. So it will need to be set up again.

What FW version is currently loaded?

Cna you or someone check the voltage on the power adapters plug that plugs into the camera? Make sure it matches or is close to the specs listed on the power adapter sticker.

I thought I had posted this question earlier but I guess I didn't save it.....???

Has this been confirmed as fact?  Because if this camera has to be completely reset every time the power goes out for more than a minute, well, that makes this camera very difficult to use.  One would think that the setup info would be saved for just this sort of thing, or have a battery installed in it to save setup data like CMOS in a computer does.

There was a problem in if cameras were off for more that two minutes it would default back to factory settings. I believe D-Link is aware of the issue and took steps to fix it. Not sure if this has been addressed as of yet.

The camera adapter voltage is fine.  Actually, i was using it and when i removed it once, these things happened.  No problem with charger anyhow.

Can anyone get the camera reset up doing a factory reset then using the software installer package to get the camera set up again? Ensure the camera is LAN wire connected to the main host router and verify the camera is getting a IP address from the main host router. Check the main host routers IP address table to see if it's listed there.
