For many time i use USB port on router for printers, webcams and ot more.
As now evryting i use in USB port work well with or with out powered USB hub.
But yesterday i plug in a Logitech C160 webcam and it not detected by router.
I have test with DGL-5500 and DIR-655, with out the powered USB hub.
Strange that 2 router dont detect 160 webcam.
Dont look to me as a firmware issue, as both router as the same issue.
Web cam driver are install, but router dont detect perifical.
Noting new on D-Link Shareport Plus.

Most routers don't support web cams. You'll need to connect the web cam directly to the PC or Laptop to use it.
You'll need to contact the Mfr of the web cam for help and information regarding this. Most web cams are directly connected to a PC or Laptop, not a router and is not recommended or supported to connect them in this configuration.
Good Luck.

Just got pertinent information.
• The router may not support the USB device.
The router does not support USB devices which operate using isochronous transfer. Please confirm that the
connected USB device is not an isochronous device.

You'll need to check with the Mfr of each USB device to see if there devices meet this requirement.
Thanks for the information.
