Recording issue with d-link dcs 3420 camera
« on: December 31, 2013, 04:19:07 AM »

Hi,
I have been using dcs 3420 cameras for a while now. I donīt know why but I started using Security Monitor Pro program for monitoring and recording movements right at the beginning. The problem with this program is that you can record sound and the program has to be on in able for cameras to record. If I set up the program and cameras in Seucrity monitor pro they will record as long as the program is on, but if I turn off my comp for example the cameras wanīt record. So that is bad. So I looked at the settings (http://prntscr.com/2fdyyl ) on the web browser where you can access you camera. As you can see from the link I past here I set up the sensitivity and the percentage, then I filled in all the needed in MAIL/FTP section (http://prntscr.com/2fe0qo ). Have I done correctly?
I am asking this cause I have not seen any files yet saved on my NAS in the specified folder.
Does my web browser (http://prntscr.com/2fe1jw) needs to be on like this for camera to be able to record?
I am thankful for all the answers.
Thanks in advance
And HAPPY NEW YEAR
