Title: Suggested firmware version?
Post by: Innuendo on September 29, 2010, 07:48:35 AM
I know the DGS-1224T is not 100% bug-free, but I recently was able to pick one up at a price I couldn't ignore (Where else are you going to be able to find a smart switch with more than 8 ports, green technology and this feature-set for under $100?).

It's hardware revision D2 which seems to be the latest according to D-Link's web site & came with the factory-installed firmware version v4.20.12. My question is should I upgrade to the latest firmware version or sit at where I'm at?

I just didn't know if there were any bugs in the later versions of the firmware that are not in the version I'm using. Thanks in advance for any replies/advice.
