Title: is my dlink 2750 router is dead.
Post by: Naga on September 03, 2013, 11:17:07 PM
I got the router(dlink 2750u c1) from my telecom service provider(Etisalat,Dubai,UAE). Recently i have taken my router to India in order to setup with local ISP(BSNL,India). Unfortunetly i was fail to do, due to the limited options. So i thot to update with india dlink firmware and i did copy the updated firmare file to the modem and then restrated, from there onwards there is no indicator lights on the modem are off completely non-reponsive.

Is my router dead?...  :'(
Or is there any way to install the firmware to bring back my router?
if so please help...

Check the power adapter to ensure its working. Have someone check it and the MODEM. It either has failed or is not working, you'll need to phone contact your regional ISP or D-Link support office and get it to RMA or replaced.

Good Luck.

Crash Recovery mode may help if you couldn't get it to work.

Can you confirm that this process works on DSL modems? If not can you out line the steps to take to gain recovery on DSL modems?
