Static IP Address Change W/DAP-1610

I purchased the DAP-1610 and used the WPS to connect to my Telus WiFI Boost. The connection took first time and provided me with 3 green bars. I was then attempting to work some of my devices attached via ssh and these items, which were placed as statice IP's in my router, were now showing changes to theier IP Addresses. When I disconnect the DAP-1610 the IP addresses return the router settings.

I set the DAP1610 as a Static IP Address in the dlinkap.local web portal. Still did not make any difference.

I have a Actiontec T3200 router which is connected to the WiFi Boosts>DAP-1610.
