Title: Invalid username/password? It can't be!
Post by: xavier666 on September 09, 2014, 10:40:50 PM
DIR 605L
Hardware Version : B1
Firmware Version : 2.04

I recently bought it and registered for an account in mydilink. I can even sign into that account via the web portal (but it obviously says no devices connected)

But if I try to login via the router, it says that "invalid username and password". I have tried this multiples times but it was of no use.

Help please :(

mydlink.com Supported Browsers
Internet Explorer 7 or higher (32-bit) - Add mydlink.com to the "Compatibility View" exceptions list.
Firefox 12 or higher
Chrome 20 or higher
Safari 6 or higher (Mac OS only)

IE 11 and DLINK Active X Install
A quick workaround is to enable developer mode (F12), go to the button icon on the right (Emulation) and select "Internet Explorer 10" instead of "Edge" on Document Mode.

Ensure your Java program is up to date as well.

If you can't get signed in using the web browser, ensure that your account information is input correctly at the log in.

I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.
Let us know how it goes please.
