Everytime i try to upload a firmware I get The uploaded firmware file may not be correct. You may have uploaded a file that is not intended for this device, or the uploaded file may be corrupted. I tried the Crash Recovery but I cant get it to work. Is there a specific way to downgrade this router. Im on 1.25na by the way.

I have the same problem... Yesterday I've upgraded my router (DIR-628) from 1.13WW to 1.25NA... this firmware is ok, everything working good,.. but I've missed, that I should use russian version of firmware, something like 1.24RU (with russian PPTP (Dual))... and now I can't change (downgrade) firmware to any lowest version... I've tried many NA, WW, RU versions (1.22, 1.23, 1.24 and so on) - all failed. Downgrade 1.12 version of firmware failed too...
Always get the same message: Firmware can't be uploaded and so on...
any solutions?

If you upgrade to v1.2x from v1.1x you can't go back to v1.1. This is a major version upgrade and can't downgrade.
