DSL-2750B REBLOCKING ICMP PING AFTER REBOOT
« on: October 26, 2013, 09:52:46 AM »

FW EU_2.0.2
enable wan ping respond: checked
enable SPI: unchecked
some port forwarding active and working

When i enable wan ping respond and save the settings the router starts responding to pings from the WAN. Strangely the router starts blocking ICMP ping soon after reboot. The 'enable wan ping respond remains checked after reboot.

Thanks for your help

This maybe a normal operation of the modem in this configuration. Is the modem blocking connections your performing?

I recommend that you phone contact D-Link support and ask them about this configuration and see what the behavior should be.

Good Luck.
