Title: Accidental Firmware Update Over WLAN

Hi!
I just got my DCS-6010L yesterday. I set it up with the CD bundled and created a mydlink A/C successfully.
I accessed the web based config page and go to Maintenance ---> Firmware Update and upload the firmware downloaded from mydlink to the IP Camera. Unfortunately, I did not notice that D-link told their customers not to update firmwares over a wireless connection as it was not mentioned at the download page nor at the configuration page.
I would like to ask if this will brick the IP camera? I was still able to access the camera and ping it. Should I re-flash the firmware over a wired connection again in case something had gone wrong?

It sounds like the camera still works, so how do you think you bricked it?

Sorry, I am a complete noob about this.
I afraid that the firmware is not completely over-written and I have soft-bricked the camera.

You can try setting the camera back to the factory default settings.  While the camera is powered-up, press and hold the recessed Reset button on the rear of the camera (using an open paperclip) for >8 seconds. If this procedure does not work, your only recourse may be to either return the camera to the vendor for a replacement, or call D-Link for an RMA.
