DWA-652 looses Identity
« on: May 15, 2008, 11:35:29 AM »

Two nights in a row I have experienced an odd disconnect with my laptop and the DWA-652.  Both times I lost wireless connectivity and the windows network icon dropped off the taskbar and came back.  When it came back, windows detected it as an Artheros adapter instead of D-Link and would not connect to the network.  Stopping the card via "Safely remove hardware" removing and re-inserting it allowed the card to be re-detected correctly.

I am running Windows-XP pro.

Any Ideas?

Cheers!

Uninstall it and reinstall using the latest drivers
