Cant see internal website
« on: August 24, 2013, 03:03:11 PM »

Hi,

I'm using a D-Link 865L version 1.05

I cant see website on my web server from clients in the guest zone.

My guest zone is ip 192.168.7.xxx and my web server is at ip 192.168.1.31

I have set virtual server for port 80 pointing to 192.168.1.31

No problem from clients on local zone (192.168.1.xxx) or from the internet seing my websites.

What to do, so clients on the guest zone also can se the websites on my web server?

Link>Welcome!
  • What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under router.
  • Link>What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on the routers web page under status.
  • What region are you located?

Is there a Enable Routing for Guest Zone?

FYI, Guest Zone is directly tied to the WAN port and usually isolated from the LAN side unless there is the enable routing feature which I think allows this. Guest Zone usaally doesn't allow for any LAN side access do to it's design only to allow access to the internet on the WAN side only.
