Cannot see devices behind DAP-1522? HELP!
« on: January 22, 2015, 02:19:02 PM »

I currently am running a Netgear r7000 in my loft and a DAP-1522 in my home office 1 room over. I am having a very odd issue....I recently had to reboot router and get the DAP-1522 back online.

Ever since doing this none of my devices (smart tv's etc) cannot connect to Plex (main pc wired cat 5 into dap-1522). My main pc has a static ip and is definitley online and on the network. I can however get them to see it if I go into my router and set that main pc's IP address as the DMZ.

I would rather not do that but cannot for the life of me figure out why nothing else on my network can get to it without DMZ? I also have the same issue with devices seeing my EPSON network printer (attached cat 5 to DAP-1522)

Has anyone seen this before? Any ideas on how to fix?

Link>Welcome!

  • What Hardware version is your DAP? Look at the sticker under DAP.
  • Link>What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on the DAPs web page under status.
  • What region are you located?

What mode are you using the 1522 in? AP or Bridge?

Can devices connect to the main host router correctly?
