Firmware for DNS-323 vB1
« on: February 29, 2016, 02:03:27 PM »

After having a DNS-321 for about 6-7 years, its started to give me headaches. So, I just purchased a 323 and would like to upgrade the firmware to the latest version, however, I can only locate the "A" and "C" firmware. Is there a different location that I'm missing for the "B" version?

Thank you
???

Have you tried it with the firmware it has at the moment?

All of our DNS-323 boxes are using the firmware that they had when we bought them years ago and have worked all that time without ant problems.

I have. I'm currently using 1.09 and although I've read 1.10 is not as stable, I'd like to try it and possibly Alt-F.
But, should either present issues, I need to be able to at least reload the one I currently am running, hence my predicament.
Thanks

We are on 1.08 which you can download from http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=64639.0 The readme states that it is for hardware versions A1, B1 and C1.

Hope that helps.

Thank you very much for the response and link.
Its striking to me that the mention of B1 is almost nonexistent.
The B version must have been supplanted by C1 pretty quickly.
