I think I tried this once and it never worked, I either had to use wireless or wired connection separately.
Maybe possible to set the 192.168.0.1 default IP address to something different, i.e. 1.1 or even change the entire 192 to maybe 10 or 172.#.#.#.

Yea, I think thats what I am going to have to do. I am going to have to walk her through changing the gateway of the router when hard wired to the router and wireless disabled. Then enable the wireless and let me remote in.

Ok guys, can we put our foot down about these spammers? Someone just isn't trying. If they need help running security on their own site I can seriously get them in touch with the right people. It would be so easy to register to a spam list to weed through the IP's these spammers are registering from. Heck, some are registering with users in entire domains which have been black listed. Its a slap in the face to all the people who put effort into this forum when they don't. I seriously won't be turning the cheek too much longer.

Yea Hard Harry. First this site has been in beta for ever, no moderators are allowed... They need to create a forum for D link users to come discuss their issues with MODs helping along side, that's the main reason the site is not getting its high usage because its not a very nice forum.... TTyl its morning and I am not feeling that great....

No offense to the effort you put into that thread, and all the other effort you have put in, it's hard to take it seriously since not a single Mod has posted in it. Honestly, how much time does it take to make one post? I am going to try to call Dlink up and see how high up the chain I can get Saturday.

Two tips:

1. If you turn on certain features using the Style trick and then back up the configuration file, you can't use it to recover.

2. After taking a hour to write a post for these board, if you accidently hit F12+backspace instead of just backspace it delete the entire html body of the page, even from cache, and CTRL+Z does not bring it back. Thank you Chrome. ::face palm::

I have some very odd conclusions from my testing of gamefuel vs gaming rules challange. More to fallow when I get the heart to rewrite my entire post again. LOL

Chrome is the best browser ever created, I can switch from my laptop to the house desktop and my bookmarks and settings will all be sync, also everyone in the household can have a user account in chrome so we all won't be using one browser for all. I love you chrome.

Well up until the latest Firefox release, Chrome had the fastest script engine around. Plus it worked alot better with roaming profiles. Yes, it had sync, but firefox had that first. If you look at the new Firefox and MSIE...they look alot like Chrome though...hehe.

Let's not forget about Safari (although IMHO, the browser is forgettable).

I need to play with the new 5.1 version as see if it's any good. I still use Opera on my mac too.  ;D
