I have a D-Link WBR 1310 with the below specs.  I purchased new in the box.  I wrote down these numbers off the box itself.  I purchased for a senior relative.  Now it's on it's way from Wisconsin to her home in Oklahoma so I can't open the box to see what I actually purchased.  I AM A SENIOR ALSO.
Don't know how to determine the age of this unit but believe it can be done if you know how to read the SN characters.  At least you could with serial numbers at my long term place of employment where they manufactured transport  refrigeration units.  Please excuse my ignorance on this product. 
I wish I would have opened the box and examined it before sending it out.  Appreciate any help on identifying exactly which one I sent and how old is it.  Oh, I doubt it but is it wireless?  YMC

Yes it has a wireless G mode radio I believe is the max it supports.

I highly recommend you get into a newer model router.
