mydlink Lite Mobile App stopped working on 3g/4g & wifi

My dlink lite mobile app worked great when I first installed and used it.  Then, all of a sudden, within the last month or so, when I try to use it on my android phone I get the message "could not connect to the device.  Please try again later."  Also, on my IPad, with wifi, I got the same message with the error code 0.70.0.2.6.7c" ... Any ideas as to what happened?  How can I get it to work again???  Thanks for any input.

What devices are you using and connecting with this app?
What cell service do you have ? ATT or T-Mobile or Verizon?

The app is working for me on my iphone 6sP with 3 cameras I have. I'm on ATT

The device is a DCS-936L, cell service is consumer cellular for one family member & tracfone for another.  I can't get camera to connect on either 3 or 4 g, although it did before.  It did connect with wifi.  It almost seems as though the problem began when i updated the app recently.

It seems that there <edit> have been or still <end edit> are problems with all mobile platforms now . Has anybody seen somewhere an announcement made by the manufacturere confirming this?

The MDL Lite app is working for me on my iPhone 6sP iOS 10.3.1 on ATTs 4G network with 3 cameras and DNR-202L.

We presume this has to do with Windows Mobile OS platforms. Which D-Link is already aware of. There was an issue with users on T-Mobile devices. I believe that issue was fixed. Not sure though. Please be patient while D-Link works on the Windows mobile platform issue.

This thread has helped confirm what I feared, a problem with the software on Windows phone platform.  We never get any good productivity apps, just useless games.  What I don't understand, is like everyone else experienced, why it happened after an update of the app(written by dlink or an affiliate), and not during a phone update.  Seems like this should be able to be fixed rather easily with a rollback, as it used to work perfectly!! (well, really slow and buggy, but it at least worked).

So, we have established that someone out there is working on the issue, I don't expect it to ever get fixed, and I guess will start carrying my tablet with me for emergencies.  Can we maybe start an email list, so that IF the update gets fixed, all those users affected might be notified and not have to randomly reinstall this app and try to connect until such time that it might work?  We would all be literally insane then..

I spent 4 hours at work freaked out because my camera detected a motion(email alert, cant get to send vid clip though, setup fails test when I try), I couldn't pull up a stream or SD recording to find out what happened.  Checked logs from my computer, turns out it was the camera adjusting light sensitivity.  I've never had a false alarm before this though, so I was kinda stressed.

For what it's worth, I tried on wifi and 3g, boost mobile(runs on sprint), phone is a Lumia 635 running WP 8.1, camera is DCS-942LB1.  Have tried reinstalling the app as well.  Works fine on my computer with Windows 10, so it shouldn't be a local network problem.

Thanks for your feed back. This issue is under review with D-Link support. If you need more information or help. Please feel free to phone contact D-Link support regarding this issue. The more information they have from users, the better they can get the issue resolved.

Just wondering if any updates, workarounds or any information have become available since last posts??  I miss being able to use mydlink lite mobile app.  And, if it doesn't look like there will be a forthcoming fix, is there any other apps that might do the job, in the meantime??  Thanks.

Sorry to say,
it still hasnt been resolved. I know they are currently working on it still. I can understand your annoyance with this issue, as even I have not been able to view my cameras remotely still.
