Title: I want to increase port security
Post by: swordfish77 on July 27, 2016, 11:11:42 AM
Hello, I cannot post anything new so I write here(sorry..) :(
I buy recently 9 piece of DGS 1510-28(2 SFP+ 10 Gb). I want to increase port security so I have to assign static MAC address to every port. 9 switches X 24 ports= 216 ports. There is a method to insert multiple mac address at once? In the past I owned Nortel, Planet and Cisco switches and I was happy to have this function.
Thank you!

Hi,

you could use the CLI and copy&paste a list of proper commands (built around the command "switchport port-security mac-address ...") from a text editor to the CLI. See DGS-1510-28_CLI_REFERENCE_GUIDE_1.10_EN_WW.PDF (ftp://ftp2.dlink.com/PRODUCTS/DGS-1510-28/REVA/DGS-1510-28_CLI_REFERENCE_GUIDE_1.10_EN_WW.PDF), page 445ff.
