Prevent luminosity alarm trigger (d-link DCS-6500LH) ?
« on: August 30, 2021, 02:51:57 AM »

Hi,
I have a set of d-link DCS-6500LH cameras but I get numerous alerts over the day that are just due to lightning conditions.
The main hall is subject to light variations when clouds appear and disappear cutting or letting the direct sunlight light the room.
I have set the motion sensitivity to its lowest level, but still, when cloudy, I can get about 20 to 30 alarms an hour.
And the lowest sensitivity makes the camera appear useless in case of real alarm trigger.

Is there any way to skip the light variation alarms? Any kind of training, parameter? Otherwise, I'll just stop using them (waste of money)

Thanks for any help
I have d-link DCS-6500LH cameras.

Anyone?
This makes those cameras totally useless.
I can't get about 200 alarms a day just because clouds pass in front of the sun, or if the light goes through tree leaves.
Thanks for any clue.
