Revert back to v1.12 B03 then.

D-Link was not able to reproduce bandwidth usage that your are experiencing. Nor am I. v1.13 is working for me.

I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email. Ask for an RMA.
Let us know how it goes please.

D-Link offert no phone service.
I allready maide a RMA augus 27 2014, because router did anser to comandes and i could get in device.

At this time only 1.12B05 was avalable. But 1.13B02 as the same issue.
Won't ask for a other RMA if router is OK. Trouble come with firmfware 1.12B05 and 1.13B02 only wend steamboost is enable. I loost speed32Gb/s to 28Gbs/ in donload and bandwich is over consuming betwen 15 to 20Mb.

I have buy DGL-5500 in october 2013 and still wating for a sutable firmware. FurryNutz

Once again, For a router that cost over 200$, i iam very desapointed ove D-Link support.
I sincerly hope to get a trouble less frimware  soon!!!

I recommend that you phone contact D-Link support and ask them for a different model router in exchange for the 5500. I recommend the DIR-868L or the 862L.

I don't know when any new FW is forth coming or if it will fix your issues. You need to contact your regional Canadian D-Link office for help and support.

Good Luck.

I recommend that you phone contact D-Link support and ask them for a different model router in exchange for the 5500. Pay the fee to talk to some one, then once you get some one on the line, ask them about refunding the fee as well as exchanging for a different model router. I recommend the DIR-868L or the 862L. The DIR series routers are solid routers and well great for gaming as well.

The DGL-5500 was not designed, developed and meant for market outside of the USA.

Please disable ABE and enter manual ISP UP and Down link speed values while leaving SB enabled.

I but this router in Canada, so why D-Link sold this item if it wont wrork?
Now, i should payd for phone service ?!?!? And for wath, hoping that they refund me they Service Package !!!
Even worst, FuryNutz sugesstion is to ask a exchange for a router wort half the price ove my DGL-5500!!!

This have no sense to me, it is not resonable to ask me more money for a produc not intended to worck in Canada!!!
Wath a scam!!! It is D-Link problem if they dont offer support in Canada!!! And they want me to spend more money on this JUNK!!!

I aim completly desapointed by D-Link Support.

Have you contact D-Link support in Canada yet?

You won't know till you find out...

The suggested routers may be worth not as much however do more and offer more in features than the 5500 does.

Sorry we can't do any thing else for you here in the forums. This is a matter that you need to talk to someone at D-Link support ON the phone to resolve this matter.

This thread is now closed.

Good Luck.
