I know, I found that given some time to "settle in" the router seems very stable and SB and ABE work well. Aside from the duplicate icons and the random UI hang, it seems to work better, given some time. Keep whats loaded for now if you think it's working well for you. Keep us posted.

A non-beta full release? Or will it be another 6 months?

So I presume it maybe a few months out since B05 was a full release.

D-Link has been quiet since our findings on B05 and not sure why. I presume maybe they are doing some hard core fixing and development for the next non full beta release. I have asked for some interim beta builds as well until the next release comes available. Still nothing from D-Link so I don't know the status at this time. Sorry. I'll post when I do get something.  ::)

For those not interested in v1.12B05, please try Beta Build v1.12B03.

Please be patient.

Ok, thank you for letting us know. I presume this will be one of the few issues we will see in B05 for now. I presume the the next beta or full release will have this fixed.  ::)

Went back to 1.12b03 and my VPN works perfect again. Same settings. So it has something to do with beta 5

Let's be honest with ourselves.

How long do we expect dlink to actually support this router? It's been over a year and we have yet to see a functional firmware for the device. It's a bust.

My fw has been up and running for weeks now now problems! Beta 1.12
I'm not giving up hope sure it's been a year and things are not perfect but writing code isn't easy.
Plus qc has code and there working with ms on Xbox one stuff.
I imagine that there overwhelmed a bit by all the stuff people want.
Even though b05 is broken I saw the work that had been done to make it better.
It's good to know when buying an new product with new tech that there could and probably will be issues!
I came in knowing this and sure it's a bit irritating but with time I see this router being the best option for gamers.
So don't give up hope yet if code was easy to write everyone would do it!

Others are involved in the development of this router, just not D-Link alone. Please be patient.

I recommend using v1.12 Beta 03. Seems the most stable version at this time.

Thank you.

Let's be honest here man. Would you be patient if you bought a car, or even something smaller like a tv and had issues even a year after buying?

I had NONE of these kinds of issues with my dgl-4500, or even the model before that one....  I'm trying to be a "loyal" d-link guy but this router is making it very hard.
