I'm not 100% sure but i think the cull line has something to do with rendering the charts and such.

I noticed that it only seems to pop up when I open the page in firefox and nothing shows up in the network screen. If i open it up in IE, It does not seem to throw this error.

Most betas posted by D-Link don't come with release notes. D-Link reserves the right to with hold release information for beta code. We presume D-Link already has information regarding changes that they do release for the final code releases that are not betas. Its users choice to load the beta with or with out release information.

I have this version loaded as others have this version loaded and have had good experiences with it. Most issues seen have been user configurations and setup conditions.

If you experiencing problems with your unit, i recommend trying the beta or phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help with your router.

This is a closed beta from December 2013.  Which is almost 5 months ago.

One of the DLINK engineers should have a list of the attempted changes and fixes, considering how aged this release is before being made public.

I have not installed due to the feedback here and the lack of information from DLINK.  Need a few crumbs here.

Can you test Opera and Chrome to see if these exhibit the same thing?

What version of FF are you using?

FYI, D-Link is aware of this issue and the next FW release should address this thats on the horizon.

Sweet, yeah i'm not sure if my theory is correct about the charts. but it also seems to run into the error multiple times every hour on the hour as seen here.

I have the latest version of Chrome, FF, and IE

In chrome the network screen stopped rendering icons a few updates ago. I think the dlink firmware uses some depreciated java commands.

In firefox everything works except the first page of the statistics graph.

In IE it pops up an error telling me to use ff/chrome but other than that it is the only browser that actually seems to work.

I've turned off all the settings in chrome/FF that might interfere with the page but I think it's just a javascript  issue.

The cull pcaps message comes up on the hour every hour 6 times. I don't know if it's good or bad really. It could just be a notice that it's doing something it should be. But it would be nice to hear back from d-link about the actual meaning of the message.

this is what it looks like in chrome since about 2 weeks ago. Both with the standard firmware and beta firmware. I'm pretty sure its a google chrome issue since chrome updates pretty much every other day it seems.

Hmmm...well if the 5500 is compatible, I would presume there could be a configuration issue or something is going on in FW and this feature...

Were you able to test 2.4Ghz with single mode N, Auto 20/40Mhz, WPA2/AES only and HT20/40Mhz disabled?

Do you have all N supporting devices or do you have a mix of G and N?

2.4 Single mode N, auto 20/40Mhz/WPA2 AES and HT20/40 disabled results in instability and the router dropping packets on the wired interface whenever the Vita is connected.

2.4 G only mode, WPA/TKIP results in the router working without dropping packets.

Ok, thanks for sharing this info.

I was told that Sony has issue with D-Link routers and this could be what is holding a fix up. The issue is between Sony and D-Link is all I got.

I don't know if or when that will be resolved.

I recommend that you use WPA and TPIK for now. If you need better speeds on 2.4Ghz for other devices, as a suggestion, you could connect up a 2ndary 2.4Ghz AP and use it for all the other devices to connect to it using the N mode configuration with WPA2 settings, or set up the new AP specifically for the Sony device only and change the 5500s radio settings for all other device to use. The SSIDs should be different as well as the channels. This is a work around suggested solution until Sony and D-Link get this fixed.
