Access Control for Shared Files not working??
« on: June 10, 2013, 08:03:27 AM »

How does it seem that no matter how I set the user accounts and the shared folders, any computer can still access everything?

I removed the main folder "Volume_1" from the "Network Share", created another 2 network shared folders and pegged a user account with the appropriate access to each of the shared folder. It is quite rubbish that we are still able to access both private folders as if there wasn't any password access to it.

Am I missing something here?

The intend is to give each family member a private folder to backup their files and to have a common shared folder to share our multimedia collection. Is that so difficult?

i'm having a similar problem. I my case i just cant chance the access control of the new Volume_2.
The acess control of volume_1 works just fine, but the 2 isnt working at all. So i only can write on it using the web interface, otherwise i can just read from it.
