wireless to cat 5 cable question

my cam was running via wifi and i just hooked a cat 5 cable to my router and ran it outside to my 2330 and connected it,now my question is does the ethernet cable automatically take over?? or am i still on wifi? thanks..

I believe you have a choice of one or the other...wired or wireless...

To answer your question no you lose your Wi-Fi wireless when wired and are connected via your Wlan.
Reset your camera and state whichever one you prefer Wired or Wireless. see which works out better for you.
