Does it work with any cams directly?

If so, which ones and how?!!!

Or do I need a dir-326?

The app connects through either a D-Link DNR-322L/326L or D-ViewCam Server.

If you have an iPhone/iPad, have you looked at D-Link JustConnect+?

BTW, I presume you mean "DNR" and not "DIR".  DIR refers to D-Link's routers, while DNR refers to D-Link's video recorder product line.

Thanks! That explains more than the app or my assumptions.

I thought it could directly connect to each camera.  No wonder my attempts were in always denied.

I'm Android all out, and my IPOD TOUCH 2.0 is like several OS's too far behind. Never did like it much.

So a "D-ViewCam Server" - is that like running D-ViewCam on my desktop?  I could then connect the Mobile app to that?

I realize this reply is 9 months past due, but yes, I'm referring to the instance of the D-ViewCam application running on a host PC on the same LAN as the connected cameras.
