Access to Hidden folders
« on: April 19, 2014, 01:54:57 PM »

Hello,

im having a bit of a pain as i can't access the installation folders on my NAS. I've installed Plex add on, and would like to add some plug-ins (channels). To do that in need access to /mnt/HD_a2/Nas_Prog/ or /Volume_1/Nas_Prog/.

Is there an easy way to do it?

Thanks
Aleks

probably because the fun-plug script need to install the folder as a different user/group than the default one.
check that your web/smb user has access privileges to that user group and the folder has rw privileges to its group from ssh.

I havent installed fun_plug.

I installed firmware from Ukranian dlink site which enables add onn management DNS-320L.
Then i downloaded from the same site Plex plugin and installed it.

My issue here is how to access those files. Is the only way to ssh with putty on my NAS and use MC?

in that case ask dlink ucrania how they implemented plug-in support and how to enable it in shares as you need as its not a standard dns-320l feature.
