Repeater DIR-505 throughput fluctuation
« on: November 18, 2016, 03:55:57 AM »

Hi,

I have bought a D-Link repeater DIR-505 and have tested its throughput using iPerf.

The throughput of this repeater is very good, but when configuring the WAN in the Ethernet port, the throughput drops to "0" each period of around 10 seconds. As shown on image below

For curiosity, when configuring the WAN of the repeater as wireless signal I did not get this problem.

Is my router with problems or it is common?

Thank you.

Att,
Guilherme

Link>Welcome!

  • What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under the router case.
  • Link>What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on the routers web page under status.
  • What region are you located?
