colors in web page problems
« on: September 08, 2014, 02:30:00 PM »

Hi..got a bit of a startle with the new format today:  couple of suggestions wrt colors...dark blue on grey background is almost impossible to read..perhaps a lighter blue would work better?  and a somewhat minor but related problem is the "login" button is gray on a slightly darker grey backgound...perhaps a much light grey "login" text would be better.

My old eyes may be most of the problem, but if I cannot read the link, I am quit reluctant to click on it...I now have to hightlite the link with the "select" tool to be able to read it.

Otherwise..carry on, and thanks.

Regards,
Bob
PS  I just noticed...the post button suffers from the same problem.

The Orange is horrible too. Even on my tuned del 99% rgb monitor the contrast is horrible .
In light my smart phone shows nothing but glare.
I guess this is one way too reduce complaints.

We're working on refining the color and size issues reported by a number of forum members.  :o
You may notice that this wasn't just a color theme change, but the SMF version was upgraded from 1.x to 2.0.8.

I have no idea what SMF is - but traffic on these forums seems to have come to a near standstill.
That should be a clue that this halloween format is EXTREMELY uninviting.

Been lots of activity in the forums. Just because there isn't much in this thread doesn't mean there isn't else where and due to the new theme. Others have commented that they like the  new theme. We are trying to adjust the old link colors to new better visible colors. Please be patient while we work on that.

SMF is the forum SW that D-Link uses. You can see the version info at the bottom of the forum page.

Agreed.  4 posts in 5+days in the 3 camera forums is a drop off. Is the lawyer Java still alive or is he working on his next multi forum sticky, as he disappeared also.
