Title: API Manual
Post by: baqwas on October 21, 2016, 08:45:32 AM
I'm tinkering with a DCS-5029L. I would like to know if D-Link publishes any API guide or makes available supporting libraries beyond the RTSP intrinsic support in the device. I would prefer not to invest in commercial 3rd party products to access images and video from my D-Link device (unless these libraries are is provided by D-Link). Any advice would be sincerely appreciated. Thanks.

P.S. I have tried the basic http://IPaddress:554/image/jpeg.cgi and other variations listed in some related threads including RTSP instead of HTTP but failed to receive the expected stream from the device.

Not sure if this will be helpful:
Display Video on a web site: http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=50328.0 and http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=64975.0 (http://Display Video on a web site: http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=50328.0 and http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=64975.0)

Most deeper code configurations and such are held by D-Link as proprietary.
