Why have a 12v refrigerator
« on: June 25, 2023, 03:49:22 PM »

I've looked at the way your posts go and I like them. The other GD forum has too many folks that get off on tangents and don't stay on point. I just traded my 2021 Reflection 297rsts for a 303RLS 5th wheel. We had a nightmare of a delivery that included the fridge not working at all. The dealer got one from another unit and it worked fine when we returned to pick up the unit and 12 volt refrigerator. Over the past couple of weeks I've been reading everything I can about these 12v refrigerators. It seems like they are very ****e to problems. Why did GD as well as other manufacturers switch to these vs the gas/electric kind? Was it a cost thing or a product supply thing or something else? Just curious what you guys thoughts are...
