Is there any way to play flv files through shareport app.

I have iPad mini retina on which I would like to watch video tutorials which are in flv format, saved on my external hdd.

I connected my external seagate expansion hard disk to dlink router usb to make use of its shareport feature. I mainly have flv files on my hdd, the shareport app does show all the files on hdd, but it is not able to play flv files. I have installed vlc for iOS, but this was not of any help either, as I am not able to  make shareport app play these flv files.

Please help

Ya, Not sure if .flv files are supported under Shareport.  :-\

From the below guide, we know that shareport app doesn't support FLV format:

To play FLV in shareport app, you have to convert your FLV files into m4v .mp4 .mov.

You may also prefer to this step by step on how to convert FLV to other popular video formats like MP4, MOV, etc.
