Power Supply
« on: February 21, 2020, 08:32:39 PM »

Greetings,

I was given a few D-Link DNS-323's. They do not look used (no scratches, very clean, no dust even on the inside). If I plug the units in without any hard drives, the fan starts running and LED on the power "brick" is a solid blue. However when I plug hard drives in the "brick" portion of the power supply LED starts flashing blue and nothing happens. Even the fan stops working except for a few little jolts. I am disconnecting power when I place the hard drives in the bay. Any ideal, suggestions?

Try a different power supply or known working power supply from a working unit?
