Hi all and thanks for replied me,


I bought another router because I read about too many problems withthe d link 2770... With the new one it's all working good, but especially I don't see the MDNS packets "storm" (with wireshark) when I connect to the wi fi network (see my previous post).

Sounds like you should phone contact D-Link support for your region and inquire about this. Let us know how it goes.

Same problem here (Italy, with firmware EU_1.00): the wi-fi connection drops randomly, but I've somehow narrowed it down to the unit's operating system which stops responding at some point, while routing to the Internet still works.

It would help providing the DHCP clients a DNS address other than the unit's own, but the interface doesn't seem to allow that.

I think a software update would be very much appreciated. ;)

Appears to have been fixed in latest firmware (1.03)
