I have to hand it to D-Link I'm seriously impressed with the improvements to the UPnP AV Server.  For example:

.m2ts streaming works better with 1.08 than twonkymedia 4.4.11 - I get proper timecode now and the PS3 can see the real length of what's being streamed instead of 99:99:99.

But what seems to be a huge omission...

Why in the world is M4V and MP4 (Video) not a supported stream type?  Twonky handles this but all of the videos I have which are .MP4 are not displayed with 1.08.   If I were to demux said MP4s and put them in .m2ts containers they would all play...

It seems nearly every other desired format is now supported.  Only two more to go..  :)

I've made some tests with FLAC, APE, OGG, MP3 files. Here are the results:
