Can't detect Cloud Camera
« on: January 13, 2014, 06:44:46 PM »

So I'm trying to set up my DCS 930L...but it can't find my cloud camera. I spent an hour on the phone with tech support and the only thing he could tell me was to "borrow a laptop or a desktop from somebody and see if it's a problem with your computer." I just want to cry. I've done everything. I can view the images on the web but I can NOT register it with the wizard....someone help me!

What firmware version are you using? There's a strong likelihood that the Setup Wizard application on the CD that came with the camera will not work due to recent firmware updates and updates to mydlink. I recommend downloading the latest firmware and  latest Setup Wizard software at mydlink.com/support. Install the firmware first, and then run the Setup Wizard.

I tried that and it didn't work. Occasionally it will detect it but it won't let me set a new password, but most of the time it doesn't detect the camera
