This may have happened when I added it to the 202L but not sure. Why would it change to 0000 and how can I fix it?

Can you set up a static IP address On the camera, instead of using a Dynamic address? Make sure the static IP address is out side the main host routers default IP address pool. I have all my cameras set this way.

Not sure I understand. On one of my other cameras the IP is a static IP, subnet mask is 255.255.255.0 and the default gateway and the primary dns are the same as my router IP. On this camera with issues the default gateway and primary dns are both 0.0.0.0, do I change them to the router address like the other camera?

Yes, change the gateway and DNS server to your router's IP.
