Hello,
I just purchased a DSL-2741B router and I am trying to change its IP from the default 192.168.1.1. I change it in the LAN setup screen to 192.168.12.93, I press save settings, I get a message the mask or ip changed, the browser tries to switch to ip chosen like http://192.168.12.93/login.html, but i get a page not found and the router remains at 192.168.1.1.
Has anybody changed the ip succesfully ? It is crucial for me to change the ip since I use very specific VPN IP addresses.
Thanks in advance

Did you change the sub-net mask as well?
I would phone contact DLink support to see if there is any limitations on changing the default IP address. There shouldn't be, however there could be.
Let us know what they say.

I am stuck with the same problem? I type in another ip address, router tries to open the page and fails. Then I login on old ip. How to change?
