hello

issue still persists but now it won't even pass barely 1 day 3 hour on the ipv4 but ipv6 still maintains the counter going. what I don't understand why it didn't do the issue when I downgraded to 1.12 but when I update the firmware I get this issue could it be a bad unit that I bought or could it be just a bad unit that doesn't like to accept new firmware updates. I'm going to still going to test out the new update with a friends cable modem sb8200 and see if the issue arise still. if it does where can I go about to do to getting a new unit.

What FW version did you end up putting on the router?

i tested it with firmware 1.20 the latest one but i think my problem was my cable modem (sb6190) like you said from the begining that it has issues. but my doubt was why it didnt reset with firmware 1.12 but it did with the latest. i swapped out my cable modem with a sb8200 and ever since the status update no issues even with the new firmware installed

I presumed it was the modem first off. The SB 6190 and any modem with Intel Puma 6/7 based chip sets are causing problems. Been a very lengthy forum post about it over on DSLReports that I keep track of. Who knows when Intel and ISPs will finally get a fix pushed.  ::)

Enjoy the router now.  ;)
